GIVE BACK FRIDAY

A Halifax-based initiative that’s bringing love into a day that’s marred with news about crowded big-box stores and consumer chaos.

Oh Mother Care Kits is really happy to be joining this amazing initiative by donating $20 from every care kit sold and $30 from every subscription sold between November 25th – 27th to support women and children escaping violence and homelessness.

All proceeds will be given directly to Adsum For Women and Children, a Halifax-based organization that provides safe and secure housing to women and families experiencing homelessness.

I volunteered at Adsum’s emergency shelter many years back. I saw first-hand the amazing work being done and I was in awe of how the Adsum staff worked tirelessly to make the shelter feel like a home.

Why not order a care kit for a momma you love (including yourself in that list!) while also supporting a wonderful organization dedicated to keeping women and their children safe. Mommas supporting mommas is a beautiful thing!
